07/11/2019 – Meeting with the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the "Premio Internazionale Guido Dorso per il Mezzogiorno"
The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, received in the afternoon at the Quirinale a delegation from the ‘Guido Dorso’ International Association, composed of President Nicola Squitieri, Secretary General Francesco Saverio Coppola, Professor Massimo Inguscio (President of the National Research Council and member of the Dorso Award judging committee), Alessandro Pajno (Emeritus President of the Council of State), a member of the scientific committee, Professor Elisa Dorso, and Michele Giannattasio (President of the organizational committee). During the meeting, the President of the Association handed President Mattarella the first copy of a book titled ‘Cento uomini di ferro e più’ (‘A Hundred Iron Men and More’), dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Dorso Award, featuring testimonials from some of the award recipients and a collection of the journal ‘Politica meridionalista – Civiltà d’Europa’.
